Jhonoven Pati vs Jamie Pickett

Both guys are well rounded. I like Pati’s speed. He’s also taken on way tougher competition that Pickett and has beating some quality opponents.

  • Tools: Alves has striking that’s a little above average (55). He also has average wrestling (50) and average grappling (50).

Alves is more of a wild man. Better knockout power. Flores stays on the outside. More technical. The striking will be close. But Flores is way more well rounded and he should be able to take Alves down if he wants to.

Chris’ Pick: Flores by decision.

Jeff Molina vs Jacob Silva

Close fight. Could go either way. Striker vs striker. I think Silva has more power.

Chris’ Pick: Silva by 2nd round knockout.

Anthony Romero vs Mike Breeden

  • Anthony Romero

Romero’s wrestling is going to be the difference in this fight. Striking could be close, but Romero will have success clinching with Breeden against the cage and taking him down.

Chris’ Pick: Romero by decision.

Collin Huckbody vs Kyron Bowen

  • Collin Huckbody
  • Age: 25
  • Pro Record: 7-2
  • Key Wins: Submitted an 11-4 grappler.

  • Kyron Bowen
  • Age: 26
  • Pro Record: 9-4
  • Tools: Bowen has average striking (50) and below average grappling (40).

Striker vs wrestler. I watched Bowen take on a 2-8 wrestler. The fight only last 3 minutes, but the 2-8 wrestler was winning most of the fight. Took Bowen down a couple times and controlled him. Bowen eventually got back up and knocked his opponent out, but my main point is the Huckbody has much better wrestling and will be able to do the same thing. Take Bowen down.

Chris’ Pick: Huckbody by 2nd round submission.
