Ramon Taveras vs Cortavious Romious I wish I was able to see more of Romious, but his fights recently end so quick. I really like his hand speed. Striking could be as high as a 65 if he has the cardio to push the pace for 15 minutes. And...
Islam Makhachev vs Alexander Volkanovski 2 I could be wrong with where I’ve graded Volkanovski’s skills at 155 lbs. But I think he beat Makhachev 3 rounds to 2 in their first fight. And I do think the wrestling is equal here. Yes, Makhachev had over 7 minutes of...
Edson Barboza vs Sodiq Yusuff I know it would appear Yusuff is the A side. Young up and comer. 7 years younger than Barboza. He’s on the way up. But I’m convinced that Yusuff’s striking hasn’t moved past a 65 grade. His striking with Caceres was close to equal...
Rodolfo Bellato vs Murtaza Talha We all know how good Vitor Petrino is. Really good. Will probably fight for the title in the next couple years. Well, Bellato came close to knocking him out on their Contender Series fight. Bellato dropped him. Emptied the gas tank to try and...
Bobby Green vs Grant Dawson Ultimately, Ismagulov’s wrestling is probably a 65. I don’t think Dawson’s wrestling is a top of the scale 80, but a 75 grade? No doubt about it. I expect Dawson to be able to take Green down just like he took Ismagulov down. Almost...
Raheam Forest vs Danny Barlow Charlie Radtke’s recent UFC debut against Blood Diamond is really helpful. Because it turns out, Radtke is really good. Amazingly, Radtke out struck Diamond 27 to 19. And Radtke’s wrestling is also a solid 60. And who was Radtke’s last opponent before his UFC...
Rafael Fiziev vs Mateusz Gamrot This fight comes down to Fiziev’s power vs Gamrot’s wrestling and cardio. I know Fiziev went 5 rounds with dos Anjos, but Gamrot’s a tier above. I do see Fiziev slowing down in the 2nd half of the fight. Gamrot has proven to be...
Shamil Gaziev vs Greg Velasco Velasco took on a 3-0 striker in his last fight and on the surface, you look at the end result, Velasco won via ground and pound TKO in the 2nd round. Great. Velasco must have had superior wrestling. But that’s not the case. The...
Alexa Grasso vs Valentina Shevchenko For awhile, I thought Viviane Araujo had 75 wrestling. She was able to take Andrea Lee down and control her. Case closed. But as time has gone on, it appears Lee was just off that night and Araujo’s wrestling tool is actually a 70...
Malik Lewis vs James Llontop Lewis is really good. He almost finished Trevor Peek in their Contender fight. It’s possible his striking could be a 65. I don’t think Llontop has anything to offer against Lewis. Chris’ Pick: Lewis by 1st round knockout. What I think the odds should...
