Colleen vs Barber, Morales vs Pilarte, Onyenegech vs Pitolo Fight Picks

-Jamie Colleen: UPSET SPECIAL: A lot of people in the industry are really high on Maycee Barber. But she’s only 20 years old. She’s never fought anybody. She’s getting a step up in competition which is fine, but Colleen is going to be too much, too soon for Barber. Colleen also might appear green with a 4-1 pro record, but she’s fought and beat way better opponents. Including a win over current UFC fighter Danielle Taylor in only Colleen’s 2nd pro fight. Colleen will be able to keep the fight on the feet where she’ll have a striking and power advantage and will knock Barber out in the 2nd round.

-Vincent Morales: Decent fight. But Morales has the much stronger resume beating pretty good competition. Not great, but good. Dom Pilarte also has 2 split decision wins on his 7-1 record and the 2 split wins came against blah opponents. Pilarte might be slightly more well rounded, but I think Morales will be able to keep the fight on the feet and has way better striking and I see him getting a 2nd round knockout.

-Chibwikem Onyenegech: Yes, Onyenegech is green. Just 4-0. 24 years old. But Maki Pitolo is a below average prospect. 9-4 record. Lost to some bad fighters. I see no way Pitolo wins this. Onyenegech with a 1st round knockout.

-Austin Vanderford: Angelo Trevino is a below average prospect. He’s one dimensional. Striker. But his striking skill is average. 7-2 pro record. And lost to a mediocre opponent in Randall Wallace. Vanderford is really green but was super impressive against Ben Fodor. Vanderford came into that fight with a 1-0 pro record and Fodor who at the time was 7-2 thought Vanderford would make for an easy night. But Vanderford came away with the decision win. Pretty rare for a 1-0 fighter to be able to pull off an upset like that. Vanderford is well rounded and I think he’s going to take Trevino down and submit him in the 2nd round.

-Edmen Shahbazyan: Antonio Jones is mostly a wrestler and grinder but he’s not that great at it. 33 years old. Only has fought tomato cans, fighters with losing records. Undefeated at 6-0 but in two of his fights he won by split decision. Shahbazyan hasn’t fought anybody either, but he’s been more impressive against poor competition. 20 years old. Purely a striker for now. I think Shahbazyan will catch Jones when he tries for a take down and will knock Jones out in the 1st.
